Pic&Place is a patented system that automatically loads and unloads cargo from a mobile robot, such as the CCRI RoboCart. Pic&Place is a magneto- mechanical system that is reliable, simple, and inexpensive, providing automated pickup and drop-off of goods. MARC designed Pic&Place to improve delivery of clinical samples within the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center clinical core laboratory.
Pic&Place was run continuously for over three years in the University of Virginia Medical Center.
