MARC has been awarded a four thousand dollar Dominion Education Partnership grant from Dominion Resources to provide Charlottesville City teachers with the “Robotics In The Classroom” teacher resource package. The package includes curriculum guides designed by researchers and educators at MARC for elementary, middle, and high school students, eighteen LEGO MINDSTORM Robotics Invention Systems, and specialized teacher training. The project will help city teachers enhance their teaching skills in science and math and provide students with a motivating tool for learning complex science topics.
