Daniel Huntley

Research Assistant

Daniel Huntley received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia (May 2004). His 4th year thesis looked at possible clinical applications in Fluorescence Microscopy. He plans to study Medical Imaging in pursuit of an M.E. in Biomedical Engineering

At the MARC, his main assignment is to help researchers characterize experiments with confocal imaging. He also processes and organizes samples collected from research studies involving hypertension.

Daniel participates in Fellowship of Christian Athletes at UVA where his duties include helping out with the worship band and organizing intramural teams. He has just completed his first winter with the ski patrol at Wintergreen Resort. He is an EMT with the Charlottesville-Albemarle Rescue Squad where he runs one shift per week.
